Description

With whiteboard paint, you can turn almost any smooth surface into a dry-erase whiteboard, suitable for use with board markers - whether it is a large wall, a door, a cupboard or an old blackboard. DUPLI-COLOR whiteboard paint can be used indoors as well as outdoors, in living spaces, classrooms, offices, healthcare facilities, conference rooms, etc. It can also be paired with magnetic paint.

A single coat of whiteboard paint is enough, and you can write on the whiteboard surface with whiteboard markers after 3-4 days. One can contains 1 litre of paint and is sufficient for a surface area of approx. 6 m². Make sure you apply a full and even coat of paint. If you apply the whiteboard paint over a dark surface (such as magnetic paint for example), cover the area with a white undercoat first.

Please keep the following in mind before you start painting: The smoother the surface, the easier it will be to erase writings or drawings from the whiteboard. For optimal results, the painting surface must be as smooth as possible and completely dry. Very porous surfaces should be pretreated with dispersion primer. In contrast, smooth lacquer-coated surfaces need to be sanded so the whiteboard paint will adhere. For more information on whiteboard paint, please refer to the technical data sheet.

You can use whiteboard paint in the kitchen, for instance, to jot down shopping lists on the wall or leave notes for your loved ones. Or turn your foyer into a whiteboard on which your visitors can get creative.

A children's room is a wonderful place to discreetly integrate whiteboard paint. Finally kids can do what they always wanted - draw directly on the wall - and parents are happy because they can easily wipe everything down again.

Dupli-Color whiteboard paint is ready for immediate use with roller and brush applications. For spray application, the viscosity must be adjusted by cautiously adding water, as even small amounts cause considerable thinning. The hardener should be added carefully while constantly stirring the paint.

Optionally, you can also add water in a quantity equal to the amount of hardener to achieve optimal flow. After mixing components A and B, you can use the paint at 20 °C for 2 to 3 hours. If the mixture becomes sticky, you should no longer dilute it with water and use it. It is advisable to adjust the viscosity according to the size of the surface to be painted at the beginning, especially if the paint is to be sprayed on. However, never add more water than hardener.
