How does a magnetic bowl work?

A magnetic bowl consists of a magnetic plate made of chrome steel or rubber. The plate itself is not magnetic. However, a strong magnet is attached to the base, which is surrounded by a rubber casing. On one hand, this magnet ensures that the bowl sticks to metal surfaces and, on the other hand, holds small metal parts of any kind securely inside the magnetic bowl. Thanks to the rubber base, you can even attach the magnetic bowl to delicate surfaces.
