With these rubberised magnet systems with eyelets in black, you can conveniently hang objects with hooks from ferromagnetic surfaces. The eyelets could also serve as an anchor for ropes that can be pulled through and used as yet another mounting option. The rubber-coated magnet systems with eyelets reveal their full adhesive force on the underside of thick steel beams where the load pulls vertically downward.
The coating made of black rubber protects delicate surfaces from scratches and the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force).
Please note: The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about magnet system characteristics.
