Delicate and standing upright as if by magic, this magnetic oak vase impresses with its simple elegance and clever functionality. Each vase is carefully handcrafted in Switzerland and comes in a modest gift box. Perfect as a gift – or to enjoy yourself, because this vase is simply extraordinary.
The magnetic vase measures 24 x 2,2 cm and includes a removable test tube (16 x 1,6 cm). A disc magnet is embedded in the bottom of the vase, which makes it stick to the metal base (7 x 7 cm). The wood is sourced from Swiss forests. Because wood is a natural product, material variations are possible and make each magnetic vase one of a kind.

Additional features and tips

The metal plate can also be used as a visible design element: Here we have an oak vase and a magnetic vase made of maple together on a base plate.
The wooden vases are carefully handcrafted in the Quimby Huus, a Swiss day care center and residential home for people with a physical disability or brain injury. The picture shows Roger Bischof working on a vase at a machine that is especially adapted to accommodate his abilities.
